This is a really cool idea. After reading this I tried to Google and see if anyone was doing this in Canada, but no luck. I’ll just have to live through you guys … maybe I’ll try to start my own.
There is a Canadian teabox on the go but it’s temporarily missing. Canadian shipping is more expensive so the boxes tend to be few and far between. There was talk on the forum recently of another one which might be started up in the next while, so maybe that will be an opportunity. If you want to build some cred to increase your chances of being selected (if one does come up) then you can start writing tasting notes, and do a swap or two. Good luck!

Glad it got there! I usually write ’Here’s Hoping Traveling tea box’ in an inside flap of the box but the box must have been replaced. Could you write it on whichever box you send out?

Heh…. I just reread the description. Some of the TTBs I’ve had lately wanted a turn around time of within a week of receiving. So ‘a couple of weeks’ is quite generous!
