Tea Presentation Vessels
I managed to break my Cha He/ Tea Presentation Vessel tonight. Does anyone know a US seller for Cha He? I have checked Puerhshop and Mandala Tea as well as Purepuer.com. None of them seem to sell them. Is direct from China the only choice?
Here is what I use. I think Walmart and Bed Bath and Beyond carry them.

Purepuer.com turns out to sell them. I missed it on their site at first. Dragon Tea House is good but is not a US seller.
This is interesting, how do you use them? Is it only when you are serving tea? Is there any special etiquette around using them?
They can be used to inspect dry leaf prior to brewing, but I find them a very useful tool to measure out tea in first, and because of their funnel shape they make it easy to add the leaf to teapots with smaller openings.
I find it especially helpful with compressed teas where I have to pry bits off first, and can’t simply scoop something out of the canister and into the pot in one go.
