Indian Black Teas

Until recently, I’ve mostly had general Assam. (And Ceylon, but that’s Sri Lanka.) One of my recent orders from Butiki was Organic Kundaly, and Organic Decaf Korakundah, which I really liked. I’m also trying more Assam.

Please suggest other similar teas for me to try. Or companies I should check out for the teas I’d mentioned. (Preferably the Kundaly.)

Darjeeling (and Darjeeling Oolong), mabye you’ll like Nilgiri teas (personally, I don’t but your taste buds may decide otherwise…) and Nepal teas can be quite nice. (white, black and green, should try them all)
I buy mine at goldentips.com
thunderbolt teas.com *(thunderbolttea.com)
hotsoup.nl (Dutch, but they ship worldwide, and superb services!)

Definitely try Darjeeling. It’s my favorite Indian tea. Nepal teas are similar in style to Darjeeling, though not actually Indian (though neither is Ceylon). I’d second the recommendation for Thunderbolt teas, but have had good selections from Upton as well (esp. Nepal).

Just as an FYI, both the Kundaly and the Korakundah are from Nilgiri. You might like our Nilgiri Frost Oolong, which is also used in our Maple Pecan Oolong tea. :)

I’ve tried the Nilgiri Frost Oolong as a sample. It was good.

Seems I stocked up on Nilgiri black tea by pleasant surprise. Is the Kundaly listed differently elsewhere? I have not really seen any.

I don’t believe so.
