A Quick, Fun Tea Survey for our Tea Loving Friends!

Hello tea friends!

I am trying to get some input from our tea lovers out there for some research I am doing for the Universiy of Shizuoka.

This is just a brief, little tea survey. If you have a few minutes, it’s really quite amusing, and your responses are all invaluable! And who here doesn’t enjoy talking about our tea drinking!?

Right now, this is devoted specifically to our tea friends in the United States. But it doesn’t matter if you’re an avid tea drinker, tea-newbie, or even in the industry. This is strictly an informal Q&A to supplement the bulk of the research which is quantitative; so we’re not worried about bias, everyone’s input is meaningful!

Survey done! I thought the question “In the last year or two would you say your tea purchasing/drinking has increased or decreased in any significant way?” was funny as my 1st year of being a Steepster is coming to a close… Ahem… Select… TEAhehe;)

Will you be publishing the results?

And, can you share some of your research with us? I was a sociology/anthropology major in college, and it sound like you might be doing something I’d find really interesting.

I am glad to see you used the five point system for the answers. However, next time you do a survey, try to stay away from the word “regularly” and others like it. If you use exact terms like “daily,” “weekly,” “monthly,” “bi-monthly,” etc. you will be able to build a more accurate picture from the results. I say this because the term “regularly” means something different to everyone.

I agree w/ the “regularly” comment. The only question I had a hard time w/ was identifying which tea goes best w/ which part of the day.
