looking for a good-value every day green tea free/cheap international shipping

I need green tea gift ideas for a non-tea-junkie that drinks green tea.
I am thinking one of the dragon tea house offerings.
Any suggestions?

yunomi.us has affordable shipping and sells sample sizes. You could pick out a variety of green tea samples to try, and maybe get a piece of tea ware to go with it?

you could try a local Asian store, some have green Japanese sencha or a Chinese green.

This Aliexpress store has some decent ones. The biluochuns are from Yunnan province and are quite nice. Some of them are reviewed here. I have also had some nice Rizhao from this seller as well. He is generally quick to answer if you ask him questions, though you may have to rephrase them. http://www.aliexpress.com/store/group/Green-tea/723612_250872242/1.html

The Bi Luo Chun I had from him is my all time favorite green.

Mandala, Yunnan Sourcing, are good ones. Berylleb on ebay is a good one.

regarding ali express store # 723612, they are listing supposedly 50 year old puer for under $7 for 100g free shipping. You gotta wonder whats wrong with this picture as its obviously too good to be true.

they also have this totally bogus looking offering for what is obviously not 60 year old puer. look at the leaf and the wrapper. This is not 1950’s tea.
perhpas they mean 60 year old tress? and whats this number 5000?

I think that’s what they mean. No idea about his puerh. But his blacks and greens have been very nice. The tea you chose sounds really fitting. I hope he enjoys it.
