Tea in a basket

My husband’s workplace throws an AWESOME holiday party every year that is for the workers + significant others (no kids…this party is for grown-ups!). Every year, they auction off items to benefit the local Ronald McDonald House. This year, I want to do a tea-themed basket.

I’ve already ordered some loose-leaf tea from 52Teas to include, and I plan on including some items from my local tea shop such as a tea spoon and a gift certificate. If you were to make a basket like this, what would you try to include?

A cute mug would be a nice addition. :D

Do you think a travel one would be better, or a regular one?

I would go for a regular mug or an infuser mug.

I would get a Kati Tumbler. This is my favorite mug right now. http://sororiteasisters.com/2010/10/26/product-review-kati-loose-tea-system-from-tea-forte/

Maybe some tea cookies or honey straws…how about a steeping basket or pack of fill-it-yourself bags if the recipient is a tea newbie?

An in-cup infuser & mug. Maybe some nice honey. Tea treats would be cute too.

Definitely an infuser….best idea would be like a “curve” or " Kati" one with an infuser. I think the Kati is on sale too!

Maybe some local honey? Rock sugar?

Cute spoon

Oh! And maybe even some paper filter bags.

And instructions for them so they know what to do…amounts, time, water temp.

Thanks for the info on the Kati. I ordered one for the basket (and one for me!)
