From a laptop the website is working quite well, except regarding the cupboard (sorting it is just impossible). I imagine the problems are much important for people using tablets or phones to post or like notes ?
Anyway Steepster looks now much like a cemetary rather than a tea lover community.I feel like quite alone here now and come here less than in the past. I feel like I have lost a lot of steepsterites. It is really sad.
I tested to see if it works better on my tablet or laptop, and I am on the same page as you. Works mostly decent from my computer (no sorting of cupboard and sometimes the font looks really weird, also the dashboard gets stuck) but on my kindle fire…well, it eats my comments and favorites so I just stopped trying.

Hopefully, the Steepster administrators now better appreciate the importance of maintaining a reliable website for a very interactive community and will solve the chronic issues without further delay. I suspect that if the frustrating aspects are quickly corrected, most Steepster members will be eager to return to the best forum of tea lovers on the web. However, if more promises are offered, rather than timely corrective action, members will move on to another more reliable forum.
In response to “fixing Steepster without further delay” and stating the obvious – I doubt there will be site changes asap as it’s Christmas holidays, so wait till new year and drop the pitch forks (or teaspoons).
I think what is best is if Steepster had an ETA or we see some sort of progress/list of issues that is being worked on. Does Steepster have a GitHub? I think that would show there are things that are actively being worked and more transparency.
As a blogger, I like Steepster and the crowd here is nice. I’m hoping it’ll work, especially since r/tea is full of troll jerks coffee down voters, teachat refuses to give me an account for some reason, and I dislike using my real name on Facebook groups.

I just wanted to comment here and let you know that I emailed Jason about the ongoing issues, and he replied with a very in-depth response.
The problems are more deeply rooted than it appears, and Jason is indeed working very hard to resolve them.
At this time, there’s not much that the community can do, but know that fixing Steepster is actually a real priority for Jason.
He is NOT trying to reduce the marketing possibilities for other tea companies in order to sell his tea, and he has NOT given up on Steepster.
Just a friendly reminder that the people that built this site are still working hard on it, and won’t just leave it to die. :-)
