Please Help Identify Brand and Type of Taiwan Tea

http://www.mediafire.com/view/3cvu2ysbftaz6qa

Hi
I received this as a gift and have been trying to identify some of the symbols. So far I think that I have gathered that it is a Taiwanese tea from the Alishan area. Possibly an oolong? Though I don’t think I was able to find the characters for that.

I would much appreciate any help that can be provided. Especially if you are well-versed in the Chinese language!

Thanks!

I don’t speak chinese, but between the style of packaging (pretty much only oolongs come packaged like that), and the Alishan, you’d be very very safe assuming it’s an oolong. You could always show us the tea leaves.

Thanks Miss Starfish!

Turns out this vacuum-packed bag contained teabags, which, when opened, contained some pretty broken up tea.

Still, not too bad, though, considering.

Let me translate it for you:

Bigger characters: Alishan (indeed referring to region)
Small characters: High quality taiwan product from the original Alishan region

On the lower part of the packaging, the characters aren’t visible, but I don’t think it gives a clue on the type of tea.

The tea packaging looks more like a standard packaging that the tea seller bought to pack the tea. It doesn’t include a brand name or type of tea, but agree with Miss Starfish, it’s most likely an oolong.
