go for herbals first. White teas might be ok depending on the tea. I've never been able to steep greens and blacks for an extended period without them going bitter. Also, if you cold steep overnight for iced tea you won't have a problem with any kind of tea.
Same here, my husband thinks it tastes like hot water. Except my matcha, the most expensive tea and he loves it, especially when I make it into a cold latte, smh.
