I was really excited for this tea. I love cake teas! I find they are the prefect way to satisfy my craving with less calories! I don’t know, this one just fell short for me. It wasn’t… awful? I didn’t fully enjoy it. Liked it much better mixed with Coffee Pu-Erh.
13 Tasting Notes
I liked this tea, but it was so much like Oh Canada, and I like that one better anyhow. So, really fun and sweet like a proper cake tea should be! I don’t know if I would get it again though.
This tea reminds me so much of lemon sugar cookies! Soft and sweet. Doesn’t need anything to add to it. Really super pleasant. Its tropical without being over the top, if you understand. Although I think it is supposed to be more of a tropical taste, it reminds me much more of Christmas.

Oh my goodness I could not find a way to enjoy this for myself without adding buckets of sugar to it. Did not enjoy. I’m sorry, Bear Trap, I tried to love you.
I have always loved earl gray tea, and that is what first drew me to try this tea. After having tried it, all I can think is GUMMIE BEARS IN A CUP! AW YEAH!
Honestly, amazing combination that results in a fun, fragrant cup of tea!
This was such a nice tea. Usually, I am only crazy for black teas, very rarely will I find an herbal that I really like. Super relaxing and good for menstrual cramps. I also found it helped with mild digestion upsets (papaya is good for that) as well as a before bed relaxer.
I keep thinking this will taste sweeter than it does. Perhaps its the ‘cake’ in the name. Really pleasant tea, soft notes of carrot and spice, but not really sweet.
I don’t know what I’m doing wrong with this one but it always comes out really weak for me. I really don’t understand. I’m so used to being slapped in the face with earthy goodness with pu-erh that the soft notes of this one leave me disappointed.
This tea reminds me so much of smoked fish. I know that may sound really odd and sort of off putting but to me it is comforting and warm. The taste of the smokey woodyness of this always makes me sigh happily and relax.
If you ever add milk to it, it turns this lovely pink colour. :3
Pumpkin was the wrong name for this tea. It really should have been called Autumn Spice or Autumn Medley. It isn’t reminiscent of pumpkin at all, the papaya is too strong. If you were expecting pumpkin you will be disappointed, but if you were looking for a nice fall flavoured tea, this is really nice.
Why must this tea be seasonal? ;_;
I have always enjoyed chai blends. I have always enjoyed pumpkin. Bringing those two loves together beautifully in this tea makes me smile. Makes an excellent latte as well! I usually enjoy it with milk, like most my black teas. So nice to drink after coming in from the cold.
This tea completes me!
I really enjoy it best with milk! The sweetness of the white chocolate and the roses is so reminiscent of a Turkish Delight! Only without the chewing and sticky teeth after! A really pleasant combination best enjoyed hot though.
