The flavor is citrusy, slightly artificial. Maybe an OK flavor for an ice tea. However, there is some ingredient in here that consistently gives me a headache. Sometimes citrus flavors can do that to me, but not usually the natural ones. Mostly this is cheap nonsense with very little resemblance to real tea.

Great tea, very flavorful for a bag tea. I love cardamom, and wanted to try Pu-erh, so I tried this. I was so happy! It gave me lots of energy (no doubt due to the caffeine content) but didn’t make me feel jittery, just happy. Brought color to my cheeks, meaning it was probably doing my circulation good. A great fall or winter tea.

This is OK. I mean, I’ll drink it. I’m not the biggest fan of white teas or orange-flavored teas, so maybe if I like it, it must be pretty good.

I’m sorry, but this is the worst earl grey I have ever tasted. The bergamot was perfumy, bitter, petroleum-like. The gold-standard for earl grey in a bag (as far as I’ve tasted) is Ahmad. Try Twinings Organic, Stash Organic or ANYTHING BUT THIS!!!

I really wanted to like this tea. It was the first white tea I ever tried. I’m not sure I like white tea at all. And I don’t think the blend of white tea and bergamot really works. It’s kind of bitter on bitter. The smell of the tea was good, but it didn’t smell like something edible, more like a quality perfume. It’s all natural, so that’s not the issue. Overall, a very perfumy, overly feminine flavor.

And the clue that maybe white tea isn’t for me is that I kept over-steeping it to try to get some flavor out, which only makes it bitter. If you love white tea you may love this, I don’t know.

You can use more leaf to get more flavor out of tea, but don’t over steep it. Of course, some people just need more flavor from their tea and white teas are usually more delicate regardless of how much leaf you use. :)

drank Earl Grey Lavender by Rishi Tea

This tea will kick you in the butt with flavor. If you don’t like lavender, steer clear, but if you are “lavender curious”, give it a try. Its very well blended. Good when you need an alert but clear mind. Skip the adderall and reach for this!

Top-notch Chai. I recommend finding some molasses sugar or equally dark type of sugar and blending with it. Then I add a little pinch of vanilla-sugar. For a rich version, try half-and-half. It also works with soy. I’m looking into buying an aerolatte to make chai lattes.

Note: you can’t cheat and steep this like normal tea. The spices won’t come out and you’ll be extremely disappointed.

Boiling 7 min, 45 sec

This is a high quality tea, but neither me nor my father can get into the flavor (He bought it, didn’t like it, I tried it). I think we both prefer the more darjeeling side of black tea (verging on oolong), and perhaps anything described as “malty” isn’t what we like.

A full-flavored herbal tea. Sometimes I’m not in the mood for the Tulsi flavor, but it works when I am. The two herbs are a relaxing full-flavored blend, good with lemon and honey.

Preparation
Boiling 8 min or more
