I’ve hated tea for most of my life, I thought it tasted like boiled grass and could not figure out why so many people drank it. Then I spent a couple of weeks in Israel where it was rude not to drink tea offered to you and I developed a taste for the lemon and mint tea that everyone seemed to serve. So when I came back to the States I decided to dip into my mom’s tea stash to find other teas that I actually liked.

I started with the Wild Berry Zinger from Celestial Seasonings because it didn’t sound too grass-like, unlike all the herbal teas we had in the cabinet. It’s not bad. I can definitely taste the fruit but the flavor isn’t too overpowering. I don’t actually know much about tea, so it’s hard to review, but for a first tea to try, it’s pretty good.
