Kukicha Twig Tea from Eden
90

FINALLY A JAPANESE TEA I LIKE!!! It doesn’t bother me that it is considered the poor man’s tea.

This tea is nutty smooth and creamy. Awesome!!! It would probably be pretty good cold.
I believe it is low on caffeine because I drank a cup last night with the intent to stay awake a little longer. I was asleep after the last sip.

Vanilla Rooibos Parfait from Tazo
90

I guess I am officially a Rooibos fan. Please try this tea if you are looking for a dessert tea to calm down your sweet tooth.

I have had it both hot and cold. When it is hot, the vanilla really comes through in the flavor. When it is cold, the peachy appleness is more dominant.

Good Job TAZO!

Green Tea with Lemon from Bigelow
66

I like the lemony kick I get with this tea. Please note that I steeped it with a bigelow’s green tea, ground ginger root and half a tablespoon of stevia.

It’s pretty good.

White Nectar Osmanthus Spring from Numi Organic Tea
48

I am very surprised. I do not know what type of flower osmanthus is but I like it. It aroma turns into this apricot kind of smell (this is the closest description i can think of). I cannot taste apricots. It’s flavor is slightly flowery. It is definitely a different flavor profile for me. I will have to try it a few more times before I decide on whether or not I like it. I definitely want to try it cold. I have a feeling that apricot aroma may be more present in its flavor if I were to drink this tea cold.

Natural Organic Raw Green Bush Tea from The Republic of Tea
74

Lately I have been drinking this tea in the mornings. I am really starting to like its mild malt flavor!!!

Lemon Ginger from Bigelow
58

This is not a bad tea. It smells really good and it should help with my current digestive issues. The taste is mild lemony almost slightly sweet cookie taste. It’s flavor is definitely interesting. I would not suggest using this as a dessert tea. The flavor is not strong enough.

Organic Spicy Ginger from Tazo
62

This my first time tasting a ginger tea blend. I really can’t smell the ginger. This blend is good tea for easing digestion en route to bed. I would buy it again. But it is not one of my favorites. This would blend well with your favorite green tea.

Jasmine Green from Numi Organic Tea
82

The aroma is very soothing. It did not taste like. I was drinking a flower. The tea was smooth and one cup got rid of an “excedrin level” headache!!!

Organic Green Tea from Bigelow
82

Surprisingly this is still one of my favorite green teas. I like its smooth light flavor. I definitely think this is a good brand to use to introduce loved ones to green tea. I have actually decided to use this brand to introduce my parents to green tea. Also the best part about Bigelow teas is that they are sold by Whole Foods and Wal-Mart! Which means that you are getting a higher quality tea for a very affordable price!!!

Organic Yerba Mate, Loose from Eco Teas
62

I definitely like a cup of yerba mate (unsmoked) when I need an interesting pick me up.

This tea is strong and yes it is definitely a tea that you must have an “acquired taste” for (cigarette aroma). But I definitely like its strong, astringent earthy flavor. It is refreshing over ice with a little bit of stevia. This is not a tea I would drink with a meal.

Gunpowder Green Tea from Numi Organic Tea
67

I steeped this for 3 minutes.
This is the first gunpowder green tea that I have tasted. It is kind of smooth for a green tea. It is also not very astringent. It has a mild grassy flavor. I also did not taste any bitterness.
This would make a great base tea to combine with mint or citrus. Or great for people who do not like green teas with strong flavor profiles like Dragonwell.

Natural Organic Raw Green Bush Tea from The Republic of Tea
74

I let this tea steep for twenty minutes. I can actually taste the malt flavor. I am suprised that I actually like Green Rooibos. It is not as smooth like Red Rooibos. It has a texture that is similar to a full bodied black tea. It is not astringent and would make a good addition to any meal or night time ritual.

Organic Pure Rooibos from Rishi Tea
65

Keep in mind I steeped this tea for twenty minutes. It has a pleasantly sweet aroma. It is not bitter. It is very smooth and fullbodied flavor. This tea could definitely handle milk, vanilla, sugar. It would also make a good base for an herbal chai tea.
