Ummm I tried this once, maybe twice, and was not impressed… so I sent it home with Mum this weekend – she loves green teas and this one will make her very-very happy.

I had the last of this at work last week and I will be looking around at the tea shops in town to see if anyone has a Dan Cong to compare with this one.

I went through that 10g sample far too fast! I gotta get me more of this, and I gotta have LOTS of this on hand!!

I made a 4C pot out of the last of this sample and shared with the hubby. I really have not completed the learning process for my tea pot… I might have to go back to a botum to make tea, because tea never seems to steep properly in my tea pot… Maybe it is the basket?

Anyway…

I will have to race out and buy more of this tea… A.S.A.P!!

1 “perfect scoop” (1.5tsp)
1 16oz mug
1 cinnamon honey stick
16oz of hot water….

Oh… Oh… Starbucks, eat your heart out! THIS IS pumpkin chai! I am glad I gave this tea another chance. That first sip of a sample must have not been made well. (It happens I have had bad tea days)

I think the biggest issue is that DAVIDs Black teas have a suggested leaf measurement that is too much. 1.5tsp to a meagre 8oz cup is over kill; for me.

Will I buy a full tin of this one? sip-sip, oh yes!

I steep almost all of my DT teas with one perfect teaspoon per pot. Our pot is 2 cups, each 12 oz, I belive. It’s almost always strong enough and will still do a re-steep. Makes up for the cost. : )

I use the recommended amount of tea but I use a lot more water than they say also. Like over double.
Glad you gave this one another try.

I sipped the take-away tea that Danielle made for my Mom today and, wow! Though it is not my favourite “neat”; I can see that Danielle is correct when she said: “A little milk goes a long way to helping this tea taste great”

Oh wow! Not only does this tea smell as decadent as a hug from my Hubby, but it tastes great too!

This is one I will be purchasing a full tin of (once I have an empty tin to put it in) It’s great as a latte too! I just need a proper milk frothier!!

I can’t type, I am sipping my second cup and it is chasing away the chills! Mmmmm!!

This steep was more successful than the first one I did at my mothers house. Maybe it is the mug? Everything tastes better in my over sized Starbucks Whistler Mug! (I guess I am those people who require their serving sizes to be 16oz and incredibly weak.

I breath in strawberries and lemons and something else, this tea would kick A$$ iced! because as it cools it is becoming eerily more and more refreshing.

I love to read and what goes better with reading than a hot cup of tea on rainy winter nights and an ice-cold tea on a hot summers day?

I used to drink copious amounts of coffee but that was just a joke, because I never drank enough water to flush out that one cup of coffee (32oz of water to 8oz of coffee?!?) and the variety in tea gives me what I need – it is not often I will drink the same thing twice.

Tea is defiantly more gentle on the waistline… Espcially since when I crave apple pie I can reach for a cup of “Mom’s Apple pie” or if I want caramel corn for my movie night, I just have to brew a cup of “Movie Night”…

I definitely have a preference for Oolongs, flavoured Blacks and a select number of flavoured Rooibos.

I love you tea, this can only get better as the extra weight continues to tapper off!

Oh, did I mention I am a reader, a childcare worker, a teacher, a friend, a sister and so many other things in a day?
