50 Tasting Notes
This is my second tasting of this tea, and I have to say, out of all of my teavana teas I have (about 12 of them) I like their unflavoured teas the best. This black tea has a nice earthy taste to it, but I am pretty sure I added too much tea for the amount of water I used, I would use less next time. It’s a very warm comforting black tea, and it’s even better when you add milk to it.

Ok, so I neglected to have tea until late at night and decided I didn’t want to be up until 3 am and put on a pot of this tisane. It smelled really good, but it was too tart for my taste, but I don’t hate it. I may try it again with a bit of sugar.
This is one of my favourite tea’s from Davids. Many people talk about how bitter this tea is and I don’t find it bitter at all. I don’t use as much tea as suggested and I don’t ever oversteep—maybe that’s why people find it bitter? It love Earl Grey, it’s a classic, and this is a floral twist to it. I was worried that it would be tart with the berries added to it but it’s such a beautiful blend. It’s always very comforting… this is my second Earl Grey today… must be that kind of day. I always have this one with milk.
This is one fabulous bagged tea, it’s even good in my tassimo machine. Twinnings is a high quality brand that is very classic. I never have anything bad to say about this tea. Yum. I add milk to this cozy little tea. Delish.
I’m so glad I bought this one, It’s definitely a new favourite. This makes me feel like I’m on a beach, right smack dab in the middle of winter. It’s a warm black tea laced with coconut and accented with raspberries (though it’s not at all tart, but more floral). I can see this being really good in the summer chilled. Fabulous tea to try if you’ve never had a davids before.
Wow, not what I was expecting. When I smelled it, I was overwhelmed by the raspberry/blackberry smell and so I expected it to taste bitter. But it’s not. I may add more peppermint to it next time. I suspect it will be better cold. Perfect for summer.
I love green tea, and I love Goji, and these two go together pretty well. Not amazing but pretty well.
I don’t know why i bought this tea. I HATE the taste of Echinacea. I tried to add a bag of peppermint to it to kill the taste but it’s just nasty.
I love love love this tea. It’s a fragrant green tea with a pleasant aroma. I drank it a lot when I was pregnant and now I come on here and see, not to be used while nursing or pregnant. Oops! It’s definitely one of my favourite Yogi Tea’s!
I had such high hopes for this tea. It’s not amazing. I can’t really taste the peach, it really just tastes like a lighter oolong. Meh. What the previous taster said, it tastes vegetal. I don’t hate it. It just doesn’t taste like much.
I wasn’t sure how I was going to feel drinking Eucalyptus in any form. I was not feeling 100% as of late and it is always worse in the morning, so I decided to brew some of this today. It tastes better than it smells. You can really taste the Orange peel in it, and you can feel the cooling from the peppermint. It has opened my sinuses, and has soothed my sore throat. It’s a keeper. I always prepare myself for the worst taste when drinking “remedy” tea’s—this one is pretty good :)

Bah! Cardamom you strike again! I dislike you. It’s not my fav and i like the detox tea more than this one but it’s not terrible. When you are drinking a tea for health purposes like detox and cleansing, it’s not going to be a chocolate tea :P I do really think this would have been better with out the middle eastern spice. But what do I know.
Blech! Not for me. I know some people really like apple strudel in a cup that is PINK. But it’s too tart for me. I know it’s one of Davids most popular tea but this is more for people who are mostly about herbal tisane’s. Pass me some caffeine
I love this tea. If you’ve had read my lips by Davids, this is similar but only in a way Rooibos can be… as it’s has no caffeine. I usually suggest this one to people to try if they’re looking for a minty chocolate tea that won’t keep them up all night. Especially good in the cold months. mmmmmmm chocolate.
I had no expectations going into this tea but that most of the white teas I’ve tasted had little to no taste. This one doesn’t taste like much but it does have a taste, a nice earthy taste. I did smell the steeped leaves before i took a taste. It’s light and not bitter. I’m not sure why people have a hate on for it. It’s not my fave but I don’t hate it.

DID NOT LIKE. Did I make that clear enough? To be fair to the tea, i’m not a fan of chocolate and orange mixed together. I’ll even send it to someone if they want a 50g bag. blech. It’s just to Orangy for me.
One of my first loves of tea was peppermint. It’s awesome for upset stomach, calming nerves, aiding digestion and reducing headaches. I love peppermint tea, especially in the winter time when you just want to warm up.
Peppermint tea can vary in it’s strength and this tea is VERY peppermint’y’. Take note of your steeping time, 30-60 seconds. I steeped for closer to 70 seconds because I generally like my tea stronger, I have to say, it’s a bit too strong. AND I just burned my mouth. Perfect.
This is my first balled teavana tea that i’ve tried and I used 6 balls for about one litre of water. I was worried it was going to be too strong but it is a wonderfully rich tea that’s not bitter. So far I can drink it black, but next time I may add milk to it. I can’t taste the “chocolate” taste people are talking about but i’m excited to steep it more than once.
This is the number one tea I recommend to first time tea drinkers. it’s delicious! It tastes like Christmas in a cup. A nice mix of chocolate, black tea, and peppermint…it is delicious.
I was very surprised at the subtle flavour of this tea. I steeped it for 50 seconds, and it was not bitter but had a light grassy taste to it. It was very nice.
