I’ve had either really good luck with some Teavana teas (I really like their Pumpkin Spice Brulee) or terrible luck, as with this tea. The worst thing about Teavana’s teas is that they contain the nefarious artificial flavoring, even in teas that really shouldn’t have them like their traditional Earl Grey (it’s a sin against tea to not even use real Bergamot oil in your Earl Grey. I am not too impressed with caffeine-free herbal tea blend, because it hardly tastes like spiced apple cider, maybe some slight intimations of “Apple Cider essence” laced with some artificial flavoring to add an artificial boost. I am so glad this tea was on sale because any tea, featuring artificial flavoring shouldn’t be so steeply priced, in my opinion.

I am a huge fan of Mighty Leaf’s teas, because they usually have a nice moderate balance of some other contradictory flavors in their tea (ostensibly “contradictory,” but the excellent taste begs to differ). As the name boasts, it is a rousing, celebratory blend, which I thought was perfect for a dystopian-themed ficiton book. Highly recommended. Mighty Leaf brewers know their teas, in my opinion.

Commoner’s Tea- I hate to sound condescending, but this tea has a smoky, acrid taste that is disgusting. This tea can be best described as glorified dirt that looks more like crack or opium; rather than tea.

(Review of the decaffeinated variety) I can barely taste the tea, and I usually prepare this tea with reasonably hot water. Normally, decaffeinated varieties pale in great comparison with the caffeinated versions of the teas-known for being much more robust in taste.
Anyways, I think all the Wegman’s Just Teas are fairly good, as long as you’re not buying the decaffeinated versions.

Subtle, light taste- not too overpowering or bitter (like the gratuitously tart PG Tips, that is fairly bad-tasting; almost acrid). It wouldn’t be a great tea for the morning time b/c of it’s light taste, and I need something strong for the morning time to zap me out of my zombie-ish state.
