Awesome, I so happen to be drinking this at the same time as Sil but this is my first time trying it. The dry leaf, from memory, smells almost peppery somehow? Maybe it’s the base. And then there’s the classic orange creamsicle lingering in the background. Aside from the pepperiness, this smells promising.

I steeped it for around fifteen minutes. It’s tasty! Truly like an orange creamsicle, and the base is really mild. I’ve only had lapacho once before, a long time ago, when David’s came out with their Amaretto, so I don’t even now what to expect from the base.

I think I’d consider buying more after polishing off my sample. It’s quite true to its name. I have, however, read in the past about health risks involving lapacho but I’m sure it should be fine if you only drink it occasionally and/or are not pregnant.

Alright, Friday Night Library Times, focus on just that. I need to stop dilly-dallying on Steepster (and writing rants to the wrong people, hence making a total ass out of myself wink wink ). Ugh.
