I had this today with my late breakfast, which was French toast! First time I ever tried making it too. I’ve been feeling like spices today, and on top of the cinnamon, clove, and nutmeg I added to the egg mixture, I wanted to kick things up a notch.
Half and half and it’s pretty good, although I think it could have benefited from a touch of brown sugar to round out the slight bitterness from the spices. It would have been the perfect gingerbread chai.
