Sipdown! Great when it’s fresh but it lost a lot of its flavour over the past two years so I’m Glow’d out for a while. Must get this in smaller amounts when I feel like having it again in the future.

Gah I know what you mean- for that reason, I really want to get my collection 6months old or less for the vast majority of the teas I known. It’s so gross to drink stale/rancid teas.

Fjellrev

That’s a fantastic goal. Man, I wish I could have nothing more than six months old in my cupboard. Imagine the freshness everywhere you look!

Taking a look at my cupboard, about a third of the teas I currently own are 6months or older. I can make exception for 2-3 of them but mostly I’m sick of looking at them lol. I hope to have used up 2 teas by the end of the week (one old, one not). I think for me the trick is knowing what I like/dislike, buying samples when possible, and if I don’t like something I use it up/pass it along right away instead of dreading it.

Do you have a lot left of the ones that you are sick of or maybe only a few cups left? It sucks when you’re tired of something and you still have like 50g+ to go haha.

Kristal

I would say it’s about half and half- some teas I only have 1/4cup or even less of leaf, others I have anywhere from a half to a full tin of (1-2 cups of leaf). I also caved and bought a total of 200g of tea combined from DAVIDs and Verdant in the last few days, but I will be diligent in always packing my older teas for work to use them up there ;).
