I woke up craving, not specifically strawberry tea, but anything that evokes the sensation of warm and gentle weather. I am done with winter. Can I get an amen?

I love this stuff. Truly, it’s better cold in the summer, but this morning, it’s lovely to feel the warm strawberry flavor on my tongue. Enough black tea base to tug you awake.

Sounds like a terrific winter morning tea. I’m with you on being done- we have a rain and wind storm today with miserable temperature.

Somebody asked me once when I became a tea junkie; I think it dates back to college when I needed caffeine for a 7 a.m. class but chose not to do coffee. My favorite teapot is a medium-sized Brown Betty given to me by my Mema; the painted flowers are chipping off, but the size and feel is perfect. I rejoice when I get a morning to brew a pot of loose tea starting with a kettle; not a bag and a hot pot.
