Backlog (so much backlog….sorry for spamming). It was too much hassle to type it on my phone and I only just got a new computer.
This is a solid tea that always delivers. Soft, creamy, flowery, and fruity. This is one of the best white peonys I’ve had.
Flavors: Creamy, Flowers, Fruity
Backlog.
This tea is a little finicky. Sometimes it’s awesome, other times it’s too tart and astringent.
A lot of tart hibiscus, little bit of orange and a bit astringent. I think this might be better at a slightly lower temp or cold brewed. or I used too much tea. Puckery.
Flavors: Astringent, Hibiscus, Orange, Tart
Preparation
Backlog. I think this tea is my favorite of all their blends.
Smoky, almost cherry-fruity, and a little bit creamy. sarsasparilla comes out more towards end of sip and more as it cools. Consistently good.
Flavors: Cherry, Creamy, Fruity, Sarsaparilla, Smoke, Vanilla
Preparation
Backlog. I tried this three times all westren. I just haven’t had time to gongfu lately.
1st time
3m- roasted (slightly) with minor flower notes, creamy. I’m sensitive to roasted teas so I was glad that this wasn’t overwhelming.
3m – sweet, creamy, flower – violet?
2nd time – sweet, vegetal, roasted
3rd – floral, faintly sweet, roasted. It was the most floral on the last steeping.
I felt like maybe I missed something, but I don’t like the tea enough to reorder in order to try it gong fu. Sipdown.
Flavors: Creamy, Floral, Roasted, Sweet, Vegetal, Violet
