This one is also from CrowKettle from the Vancouver swap meet last month.
It is a pretty good black tea, on par with the Chinese blacks I have had, but it was a little thinner than some. That may be that I hurried the steeping this morning, or that I just used sugar, no milk. I’ve found that with Stacy’s teas, I have been having the blacks without milk mostly, but I don’t know why…maybe just the way they are balanced so well.
I may try this with milk next time, and maybe a bit more leaf, as I think I can handle it.
It was pretty chocolatey to me, right off, and sweet with honey notes. I can’t recall if I had any mineral or stone fruit notes in it, but my recollection says maybe plum.
I think I might still prefer some of the Teavivre blacks more, but this one is still pretty tasty.
