Well, I don’t love this tea but I don’t hate it either. My first chai tea from DAVIDs was the Saigon Chai, and with the peppercorns and Saigon cinnamon, it is one potent chai. Getting back to the Pumpkin Chai though, I found it underwhelming in comparison. It wasn’t very chai-y and the pumpkin was rather muted, and it all seemed a bit bland, though I did like the taste, even if it was a wee bit understated. I only had a small amount (and I’m out of it now), and was only recently told that many people are steeping it longer or in a higher concentration. It’s not my favourite tea, but it is certainly inoffensive to the taste buds. I might try another small amount and try some different brewing/steeping options.
