drank Iced Chai Tea Latte by Tazo

So I work at a Barnes and Noble cafe, stopped by work today to check my schedule. Totally picked up an ice chai, unlike starbucks we don’t add water for our chais, which makes it spicier and tastier. I also add usually one pump of sugar free vanilla syrup to it giving it a nice blend of sweet and spicey. If you have never tried soy milk, I would suggest trying it with an iced chai, pretty fantastic.

like most others, this was the tea that I grew up with. My mother usually purchased it to make sun tea during the summer. As a college student I keep the tea around the house because it is cheap and ‘somewhat’ tasty. I will usually drink any plain tea such as this, probably from the several years spent tagging along to random coney islands at bizarre hours of the night with my ‘hip’ coffee drinking friends.
-i also totally collect the figurines that come in the boxes :)

drank Zen by Tazo

So I picked up a cup of zen from starbucks before class this morning, aside from being annoyed as to how much it cost now that it’s “whole leaf.” It is the only tea that I enjoy from Tazo. I really love the lemongrass that it is infuzed with.

This is fantastic. I love the Bergamot in Earl Grey teas. The combination of the richeness in the darjeeling leaves and the citrius notes coming from the bergamot creates a well rounded flavor. A friend of mine loves to use a warmer water temperature and then add some soy milk to it, she finds the flavor to die for. If you are looking for a rich and deep flavor, deffinately try this one out.

I tried this tea when it was infused with dried orange peel, spearmint, and fennel seeds. It was amazing, it was very light and extreamly smooth, almost a silky texture. The infusions were very well balanced making it extremely enjoyable.
