9 Tasting Notes

Lady Grey from Twinings

Loose-leaf Lady Grey doesn’t seem to expand, nor does it have much tea flavor. Citrus flavor is nice, though.

Organic Earl Grey Black and Green from Stash Tea Company

Mild, but nice. Combines the best attributes of black tea, green tea and bergamot.

Duke of Earl from Nourish Tea

Pleasant, light on bergamot. I find it tastes better with a cooler and somewhat longer steep.

Earl Grey from Hedley's

Before this tea, I never understood those who say bergamot tastes like soap.

Lady Grey from Twinings

Very pleasant citrus flavour.

Double Bergamot Earl Grey from Stash Tea Company

Delicious! Heavy on the bergamot as one would expect, but very well balanced with the taste of the tea itself.

Jasmine Pearls from Adagio Teas

Beautifully balanced jasmine and oolong.

Earl Grey (loose leaf) from Twinings

Earl Grey from Taylors of Harrogate

My first brew tasted heavy on the bergamot, but consistently since then it has been delicious and well balanced.
