Thanks for the unexpected hiccup, Steepster. This is a sip down full of relief. Why? I’ve had the remaining few grams in this tucked away in my cupboard for a few weeks now and upon opening the pouch a while ago, the dry leaf smelled like Windex.
Trying this hot now, which is better than the previous cold brew, but it’s still slightly psychologically scarring. The fruits are artificial, for one, and secondly, that bitterness is still there, presumably from the kombucha powder. I’ve never actually had kombucha before, and this definitely isn’t convincing me to try the real thing.
