I’m not a fan of fruity teas, but I thought I’d give this one a shot as it has a green tea base and smelled fabulous.

I made a mistake and followed the steeping instructions on the bag. Usually I ignore them and do green teas as low temps, but I did the 93 degrees and 5 min steep. Yuck. It was bitter with a weird fruity taste, followed by more bitterness. I couldn’t even drink the cup.

I have enough for a few more cups, so I will try again with a lower temp and shorter steep time. It can’t get any worse.

Preparation
200 °F / 93 °C 5 min, 0 sec

Bio

I’m a vegan, board-game playing, avid reader who likes to run and/or lift weights depending on my mood (and current injuries).

I’m fairly new to tea, but my collection seems to be growing at an exponential rate. Herbals, greens, whites, and now oolongs are my teas of choice at the moment. I haven’t developed a taste for black yet (if it’s something you can develop a taste for).
