6 Tasting Notes

When you open the bag— it is bursting with fruity strawberry aromas. I love the little flamingos hiding in the blend— David is full of surprises. This tea steeps up with a much more mild flavor than the aroma that rushes out of the bag. It is very smooth, it is neither too fruity or flowery.

I was in no way expecting to like this tea because it contains two ingredients that I am not a fan of florals and mint. WELL! I steeped this cup and slurped it through my teeth— and to my surprise it is very smooth and pleasant. The harmony that these ingredients exist in is pretty amazing. That is not to much of any one thing. As a result the flavors meld together to exist as something entirely different than their past existence.

Yummy, this is one of my favorite teas on a cold day. Very nice balance and sweet tangy apple and the spices.

Very disappointing tea! I found out that the Republic of Tea makes Panera’s green tea which I love… So, I called them and asked if they sold it, they said no it was exclusive to Panera. The person then went on to tell me that this abomination was the closest to the Panera green tea… This tea taste NOTHING like tropical anything. It also says it is naturally sweetened. I find that to be laughable as well.

This is without competition my favorite bagged tea! The tea is so refreshing and clean… I have no idea what dragon fruit taste like, but the melon note is what I fall in love with in this cup EVERY TIME! I just hate that this tea has become extremely hard to find in my local stores anymore. I now have to order it OVERPRICED off of Amazon. Either way I will buy this tea until I can no longer find it!

If you are the kind of person who is seeking tea that has a fruity flavor, this tea is not it. I feel as though the description of this tea is very misleading " Melon Pear captures the luscious flavor of sun-ripened pears, ready to twist from the tree,"

I would surely beg to differ! This is not a bad tea, but none of the flavors described are detectable. Overall I think it smell better than it taste. I will not purchase this tea again.
