181 Tasting Notes
It’s a beautiful Friday afternoon (at least in Michigan). As you can see, we just rolled out some updates to the site :)
One of the new features: sending updates to Twitter! Set it up from your account page: http://www.steepster.com/account

Working on some Steepster updates! Noticed that this stuff gets better as it cools. I’m almost out though :(
This smells like bubble gum! It tastes like peach bubble gum, which isn’t as disgusting as it sounds.
My parents received this as a gift and passed it along to me. It smells amazing, though I’m still experimenting with the steep times.

Could drink this all day long. In fact, AM drinking this all day long!
Had multiple infusions of this today. The more I drink it, the more I like it — you end up with a nice lingering umami finish. You have to be careful not to oversteep this on the first infusion though, as it will turn bitter quickly if you miss your mark. I’d probably go with 2 1/2 minutes at 180-degrees.
Been busy with a move! Finally getting back to normal tea-drinking patterns. This oolong’s greener than most, but it’s good stuff!

Had this in bagged form at L’asso. Much better than I was expecting. I’d put a box of this in my bag for emergencies.
