the first tin of Bogart we bought in San Fran is gone. I think that’s a record for this household. It’s also the first loose-leaf tea that my husband drank more of than I did. But I got the last cup today :-)

It’s Friday! Who needs pizza and beer when you can have pizza and TEA!
Sad that this one is dwindling. It’s great without any additives, and pairs wonderfully with gingersnaps. This is my afternoon tea & cookie combo of choice for now — I’m trying to avoid resorting to chocolate as an afternoon-pick me up. The ginger and other spices are good for waking up my tastebuds, and maybe perking my brain up too?

At some point about 2-4 weeks after opening the box, the mint fades into the background and the cinnamon/orange/vanilla take over. And I find myself struggling to recall just what was so amazing and compelling about this tea…
Happens every year like clockwork.

It’s the Wednesday that feels like a Monday… And I just burned my tongue! I haven’t had this tea hot in a while, but already I like it better cold :-/ (not just for the burning, but because the blueberry flavor is brighter and more prominent.) Seems kinda mudfy now, but perhaps will get better as it cools a bit and my tongue recovers.
