1736 Tasting Notes
It’s the Wednesday that feels like a Monday… And I just burned my tongue! I haven’t had this tea hot in a while, but already I like it better cold :-/ (not just for the burning, but because the blueberry flavor is brighter and more prominent.) Seems kinda mudfy now, but perhaps will get better as it cools a bit and my tongue recovers.

Changing up my afternoon tea & cookie break with something slightly different (i.e. not Double Chocolate Decadence). My DH is trying H&S Hot Cinnamon Spice which we were gifted, and liking it thankfully (I can’t handle it – it’s like liquid red hots!)
The first tea of 2013 (also my fave tea of 2012)! Glad to be spending a restful New Year’s Day with my husband, and starting it with a mug of Bogie for each of us.
This tea seems to be going quicker than most I’ve bought lately. Sadly, it seems to be enabling my afternoon cookie habit, instead of being a healthy stand-in for sweets. But it’s so good!
Settling in with a mug of this and a plate of cookies to FINALLY watch the Dr. Who Christmas Special :-)

Very yummy cold steeped in a 16oz tumbler for 8+ hrs. Balanced blueberry flavor with black tea, no bitterness.

In honor of the day, this was spiked with eggnog instead of milk. It’s a damp, foggy Xmas in the South, but every day’s a good day when your friends are happy and family are all together and healthy! :-) Merry Christmas Steepster!
