2977 Tasting Notes
Wow, I can actually smell the “exotic cactus” – it’s like a cross between peach a cucumber. Weird!
it’s there is the taste too – a surprising sweet, juicy flavor with a clean green tea aftertaste. not bad for bagged! it is waking up my taste buds, and maybe my brain too. It’s going to take a lot to get me through to the end of the work day and week!
Preparation
Problem: It’s cold and I’m having a chocolate craving, but I don’t want to put fat/sugar/calories into my body
Solution: Florence!
Preparation
Had a similar dilemma last night, but the tea didn’t work … ended up snarfing up a Little Debbie Christmas Tree Cake anyway. (Yeah, it’s rushing the season, but they’re best right after Halloween :)
Haha! Christmas Tree Cakes – I haven’t had one of those in forever. I’m not sure that I want to tarnish my memory of them by actually tasting one as an adult, though. :)
I mixed my last packet of this into my vanilla Carnation Instant Breakfast and mixed with 8-9 oz 1% milk – wish I’d thought to before! The vanilla and blueberry blend nicely together, and there’s just a hint of green tea in the color and flavor.
Preparation
Cold brewed 8tsp in 64oz filtered water for about 24 hours. The result was a light, well balanced tea with floral and citrus notes and no trace of bitterness. I like it! I am trying to drink unsweeteneed beverages mostly, so this will be a nice addition to my rotation of water, flavored water, and hot tea
Preparation
I agree with the other notes that give this full points for accuracy. The smell and taste are spot on. That said, it’s not something I could drink everyday, nor do I see myself craving it again. But, I’m glad I tried it, as it is a fun tea for the season. I added a bit of brown sugar and some milk, but cream (or maybe even marshmallows?) would have been ideal.
A chai w/ catcus? Oh must get this one:)
