2977 Tasting Notes
prepared using “So Delicious” brand vanilla flavored, sweetened coconut milk (I sifted the matcha first to get most of the sugar out, since it’s a sweetened milk – I’ll use the matcha sugar as yogurt or ice cream topping or something else)
just as you finish tasting the sweet watermelon, the mint cuts in with it’s refreshing zing. This is the most unique, and refreshing of the Rooibee blends. I think it’s my favorite simply because it brings something unique to the mix, and it keeps your tastebuds engaged and the flavor combo stimulates your brain. At least my brain feels that way…
Preparation
It is a bit weak in the flavor dept. (as others have mentioned), but at least I knew to expect that. Basically a smooth, light green tea with a hint of tropical flavor. I prefer the stronger flavor of their strawberry & vanilla, but this isn’t terrible, and would probably be good iced.
note: I opened the sachet and dumped it into my mesh basket style steeper. Also used about 6 oz water because I couldn’t stand to use only 4oz …
