removed sugarhearts before steeping, as per my norm
meant to grab the Pina Colada Honeybush since I hadn’t had it in a while, but accidentally picked up this bag and scooped some into my IngenuiTea without realizing it until I saw the cocoa nibs. Oh well – I wanted a decaf dessert tea, so this will do just fine! :-)

a lovely relaxing afternoon cup of tea…
This tea reminds me of one of those gift shops that sells candles and potpourri and such. The scent of vanilla is strong and warm, with touches of honey and spice underneath. It’s a soothing blend, but I think it could become cloying quickly. Luckily I like my chai heavy on the vanilla and light on the spice. I added a packet of raw sugar and a healthy splash of whole milk, so this is a very sweet and rich mug. Overall I think I would rather add my own honey than buy a tea with honey flavoring, but I was glad to get to sample this.
Brewed up one bag of Madagascar Vanilla Red plus one teaspoon of Cruising Cranberry in 8 oz boiling water, then decanted over a cup of ice and chilled in the fridge for a few a couple hours. My idea was that the teabag would add some body, depth, and vanilla to the berry-heavy CC, which I think it did. This was a refreshing iced tisane that needed no additives. I would probably make this again as a larger batch.

finishing off the bottle of coconut water with another 2 tsp of sakura matcha. I’ve been looking forward to this all day! Hopefully it will also give me an energy boost for the evening.
ugh. Just had a couple sips – it tastes fake all around – fake sweetener, fake tea, fake raspberries (ok, there is reconstituted raspberry juice as one of the many fruit/veg juices.)
I could finish it, but I"m not sure I want to. I’m not a big fan of “raspberry green tea” in general, so this flavor was not my 1st choice. I do like most of V-8 Fusion’s juice blends, There’s an open bottle of Tropical Orange in the fridge that I would rather drink.
Props to V-8 for the nice idea of adding the healthy green tea extract to an already good for you drink, but the execution doesn’t work for me on this one.
wanted a different rooibos for a change. This is sweet and bright, a bit like hard candy in a cup.
mixed 2 tsp. into 8 oz cold Vita Coco 100% Pure Coconut Water. This is quite yummy! It feels like a tropical drink, and the saltiness (my tastebuds perceive) of this matcha mix combines nicely with the slight sweetness of the coconut water.
I think I like this matcha mix better in cold applications than hot. It somehow seemed to dissolve better this way as well!
feeling anxious for no real reason, maybe this will calm me down…

This tastes best piping hot!
I thought I’d be clever and try to make “chocolate covered bacon” tea by brewing about 1 1/3 Tbsp f this with 2/3 tbsp Maple bacon. All I got was a muddled mess of flavors, which did not improve with chilling.
I’ll leave the tea blending to the experts (Frank)!
Drinking it black this fine Monday morning, with a cinnamon roll on the side…
