sucked this down pretty quick with my black bean quesadilla. This is a very refreshing combo with mexican food!

last bottle :( I will buy another case one of these days. For now, it’s nice to have a bit more fridge space (plus I’m finishing cases of Rooibee Red Tea and Izze soda still).
This tea isn’t one I drink everyday (although I probably could), but when I want it, nothing else does the trick. It seems to pair pretty well with any foods, maybe because it is neither sweet nor citrusy like most other bottled teas.
After getting used to the face that it’s barely sweetened, I like it. The orange is a bit sour/tart, but blends well with the green tea. It’s hard to tell if the slight bitterness is the tea or the orange, really. Overall I’m glad I bought it (one sale for $1). I wish the grocery store had more flavors, but perhaps due to the sale, they had only this and a dragon oolong with passionfruit, which I skipped since I don’t like passionfruit. I wish more flavors of Honest tea were available in my area in plastic bottles. The glass ones are a bit too wide and heavy. I’d like to try the honey and pomegranate flavors sometime soon.
having a shot on the rocks with a squeeze of lemon.
this is def too intense for me without the melting ice to cut it. Actually I should have just mixed it 1:1 with water probably… but I’m going to nurse it anyway, so this way it will stay cold as it dilutes.
feeling the need for an immunity boost today.
great afternoon pick-me-up with pretzels. Hydration + sugar – caffeine = just what I need today!
the sweetness of the rooibos and tartness of the berries make this such a soothing tisane. I love it’s red wine color as well.

mixing with Republic of Tea’s “Get some Zzz’s”
mixing with Jade Rabbit’s “Sleep Tea”
made 16oz in the IngenuiTEA and added a tiny bit of RoT’s Vanilla Tea Honey
I usually drink this bagged tea only in decaf, but today called for caf, so I yoinked a bag from my hubby’s stash. (I don’t know how he brews it for 5 min – after 3 it was looking plenty dark enough for me! Then again, he’s a coffee drinker and I am not.)
It was very good with raw sugar and a splash of milk. It definitely has that “chewy,” malty that makes it almost a meal in and of iteself. Very good with outmeal raisin cookies too, btw.

Hot tea with milk and sugar at Cracker Barrel was a nice complement to a hearty breakfast with my visiting in-laws. I was pleasantly surprised that they serve Twinings Darjeeling. I was expecting Lipton, Luzianne, or at best Bigelow — something plain and/or Southern, not something “exotic” and British!
having a quick cup as a pick-me-up in the middle of a marathon housecleaning.
Oi Ocha + whole grain Goldfish crackers = a lunch that is at least marginally healthier than Coke & Doritos
drinking it plain today, to cut the richness of some leftover Quiche Lorraine.

Cold brewed 2 tbsp in 8oz water overnight. Made a strong and refreshing drink for lunch today. This was the last of this tea. Cold brewing seemed to bring out more balanced flavor, and no bitterness from either the tea or the citrus peels.
woke up with a bit of a stuffy head (it’s probably just the humidity), so I added a couple dashes of cayenne to this tisane. If nothing else, it will wake me up!
