drank Lemon Dreams by 52teas

Plenty of lemon flavor, but smooth and sweet. Not bad considering apparently I purchased it in Dec 2012! For what it’s worth, nothing in this blend will actually put me to sleep (valerian is the only herb I’ve found that can), but at least it won’t keep me awake. I’ve been sleeping poorly lately. Perhaps I will mix this with RoT’s “Get some ZZZ’s” to alter the somewhat medicinal flavor of those teabags.

I tried to cold brew resteep the lemon dreams overnight, but just got lemony water, which is fine I guess but not worth the trouble.

Too much cinnamon and clove fore every day, but I wanted something to go with snickerdoodles, and this fit the bill! Milk and “Nektar honey crystals” helped tone down the spices and round everything out.

Floral but not aggressively so, with a hint of berries. It is slightly malty, and not very astringent. Overall, a smooth, well-balanced blend that is easy to drink and takes milk and sugar well. The perfect pot to share with a new tea friend!

drank Original Tulsi by Organic India

Was out at a concert last night, feeling a bit hoarse and draggy (is that a word). Soothing but supposedly energizing tulsi, with a spot of honey, seems to be in order.

Already contemplating what tea to have with lunch!

I’ve been thinking the same thing since I woke up. I think today is a Downton Abbey blend day for me. See you soon!
