This is my day to day tea (at the moment). While usually not a Teavana fan, my sister got this for me for Christmas – and I’m loving it. Very subtle, grassy flavor, fantastic color and scent. Really enjoying this!
55 Tasting Notes
Very strong flavor- totally cleared out my sinuses ;)
(I think I used a bit too much – but I really liked it. Great for after dinner, while relaxing.
Great color – whole experience was soothing – after the initial “WOW”!
Yau. VEry warm and nutty – think I used just a bit too much, as it had a bit of a bitter aftertaste. Nothing that won’t be fixed with a little experimentation.
Lovely caramel color. Will try a second round tomorrow!
I brewed this at 212 degrees and steeped it for 5 minutes and it was perfect!
There’s a wonderful scent of citrus that hits you as soon as you open the tin, and gets deeper as it steeps. Lovely and vibrant orange-brown color and wonderful, oolong taste with a crisp hit of citrus.
I love this tea first thing in the morning. It’s got such a great, deep color and aroma and the slightly sweet taste really gets me going and focused.
I brewed this at a slightly lower temp (a recommendation from Twitter) – 160 degrees – and I saw a slightly milder taste than the bitter edge I got at 180d. Grassy is a def, vegatal with a slight sweet taste. Full, grassy scent. The second steep was milder still.
This is a great pick-me-up when I need to focus and keep getting distracted.
I’m really enjoying this – mellow, slight sweetness and a lovely mint. Perfect for a relaxing, night tea.
The more I drink this tea, the more I enjoy it. really rich color and scent. Perfect for my morning tea of choice.
I love the scent – a nice, spicy orange. A great citrus taste with a kick. What I wasn’t expecting that these came as teabags (Came as part of a Steepster Select set), but I love the silk look of the bags. As soon as I opened the tin, the scent wafted up, but it wasn’t overpowering.
I love this tea – deep golden brown color and “toasty” scent. Tastes a bit nutty but a great mellow start to my day.
This weirded me out with the puffed rice mixed in with the tea, but it was a really complex, nutty flavor. Nice for a cold, gray, Fall afternoon.
Fantastic, deep color and fruity scent. Perfect nighttime tea – a little sweet with a full, fruity flavor. 1st Steep water:180 degrees, and steeped for just over 8 min.
I really liked the slightly sweet taste – I usually drink a different brand’s oolong, but I really enjoyed this. Full-flavor with a lovely woody scent and deep color. My new favorite!
I like this tea – very clean white tea, pale yellow with a very light scent. Slight taste of melon, but not overpowering. I prepared this by heating my water to 175 degrees and steeping it about 4 1/2 minutes.
I mixed 1 tbsp of the China Pai Mu Tan with 1/2 a tbsp of the Pomegranate fruit mix (SubtleTea). Terrific pink/orange color and a light fruit scent, not overpowering. Still a very clean taste.
Trying this from my white tea sampler – so light, especially after the foomosa oolong from this morning. Light – take a while to steep properly. I don’t like this as much as the Silver Needle, White Peony or White Symphony. But nice to try.
Great tea to start my day off with. Tastes delicious and has a rich color.
This tea makes me smile every time.
This is a lovely tea – delicate flavor, slightly sweet and less grassy than Silver Needle (my all-time favorite). Perfect for a morning that I’m feeling out of sorts…
Adagio’s White Symphony has become a new favorite – slightly sweet and a nice cup while I’m getting some work done.
Really lovely, with a slight (very) sweetness and great flavor – not heavy at all. Perfect.
I added a bit more than last time and oversteeped it a minute or two. Has a really nice, full flavor for a Silver Needle.
Snow Sprout really has become my favorite tea – I love how it smells of honey. And I can get at least 3 great steeps.
Having the UtiliTEA Kettle from Adagio makes preparing my green/white teas so much easier.
