This tea has a lot of things I would usually hate in other teas. I am not one to want chocolate pieces in my cup and I usually avoid stevia because I don’t like the after taste. But something about this tea works for me. Its sweetness makes for a nice dessert tea, and the strawberry flavoring balances the smooth chocolate after taste. I loved this more than I thought!

Such an interesting tea! I remember that if I steeped it just right, I could taste some sweetness in the first few sips. Then there was a spicy after taste that would briefly linger. I haven’t seen this tea at DT for a while but would love to try it again when it comes back.

I have had this 12 oz thermos from David’s Tea since 2013 and it’s probably the best tea thermos that I own. It’s easy to clean, keeps tea extra hot, and is a great size that is portable. Also, it’s durable – there may be one or two scratches, but I don’t think you would guess this thing is 7 years old. I have a perfect tumbler from David’s Teas that is about 6 months old and the paint is being to peel on the bottom. Most of all, the Timolino is leak-proof – it has never spilled in my bag which is great!

The biggest downside to the Timolino is the extra tea compartment. Yes, it is a nice perk to advertise that it can hold extra tea for a later cuppa. However, the seal isn’t waterproof and condensation from your current drink does seep into it. I barely use this feature, so it’s a minor flaw. Also, the tea basket is a little small. Later Davids tea tumblers fix this problem with a longer basket or you can just use a teabag. Overall, this was a great purchase, and I do which Davids’ Tea would bring a similar design back to their product lineup.

I really enjoy this tea. It’s what I have been drinking at night during the last couple of weeks when I want tea before bed. There is a nice combination of flavors that remind me of fall/winter and I always enjoy fruity teas. I recommend if you want that similar feeling for yourself – it makes for a nice comforting cup when you want one during cold nights.

Initially, I hated this tea. I would use it in a travel mug and let it steep through my commute (not the best idea!). But like any good cup of tea, the key is not to over steep and to wait for it to cool a bit. It makes a huge difference. You get a smooth vanilla flavor after a minute or two cooling off. The airy vanilla flavor makes for a good morning breakfast tea in the summers. And I recommend resteeping it at least once after you have your first cup. One review said the steeps are weaker in flavor, but you still get a nice full flavor anyways.

Overall, it is a good tea on nice spring or summer mornings and it is a tea you need to watch the steeping time. I don’t recommend using it in a travel mug cause the leaves can’t expand and breathe as well.

Flavors: Flowers, Vanilla
