8 Tasting Notes
One of my new favorites. Exists somewhere on the same spectrum with their Paris and Florence blends.
Also, it’s amazing with some coconut milk and honey.
I’m digging this tea, though it is kind of…odd. Somewhere between an Oolong and a Lapsang Souchon. It has a sweet smell and also hints of old library books. Brews up to a lovely caramel color, with a slightly vegetal (though not too much for me, and I hate vegetal greens for example) but mostly malty and smoky taste and a toasty finish.
I bet it would be amazing with milk + vanilla sugar. I might try baking with it, too.
I think it’s all been said. I’ve switched to this from hot chocolate, since hey…zero calories.
A lovely cocoa flavor with a real chocolate aftertaste. Tastes like chocolate not like the Swiss Miss sugary stuff some may be used to.
Goes great with a splash of rice or soy milk and a squirt of simple syrup, or even plain.
I’m really loving this tea, and it’s fast becoming one of my favorite after-dinner brews. It’s pretty much as described, kind of like a more tart creamsicle with a bit of the depth of white tea.
Do be careful though, it is sensitive to overbrewing, where the overbrewed tea leaves clash nastily with the grapefruit and gets extra bitter.
It should be amazing on ice, though I haven’t tried it yet.
Lovely fruity Oolong, has a bit of the vegetal white tea flavor that I’m not too fond of, but overall a strong choice for a wintery evening. As in the description, apricot and plum flavors come through.
I’ve enjoyed Harney’s Holiday blend all season, but this version is much brighter and more citrusy than that version which is more of a mellow sweet spicey concoction. It reminds me very much of the Tea Set Fancy Holidays Tea.
Mixing it 3:1 with Harney’s “Florence” makes for a lovely sweet brew.
One of my favorite holiday teas, this has a heavy fruity and citrusy flavor, along with some ginger and spicy notes. It tastes like a Christmasy Lemon Zinger fruitcake. In a good way.
Got a honeybush sampler from Adagio, this is the only one i reordered in a larger size.
As others have said, this makes a great base for mixing in other teas. Especially good with the Chocolate Mate from republic of tea.
