286 Tasting Notes
Today, I mixed this with 52teas’ White Christmas for quite possibly the creamiest cup of guayusa ever. Lightly minty and mostly just delicious. I love how the guayusa makes everything I mix it with taste better, earthier and more natural.
I limit myself to one teaspoon per day, because if I didn’t, I think I’d put guayusa in everything.
Gave this one another shot tonight. I was in the mood for something comforting and roasty, but also sweet… and although this isn’t perfect, it was perfect for THAT. It certainly hit the spot for me.
I tossed in some peppermint for my third infusion, and that was quite yummy. Mmmmm, pepperminty toasty marshmallowy goodness. I will do this again.
I’m still struggling to decide which of these lime / lemon rooibos I prefer, so I ordered more of all of them. Down to the end of the bag on all three.
I had this last night, and GAH. It is so good! I do enjoy the tartness of the lime with the sweetness of the lemon, it’s a nice mix of both. And I am always amazed whenever I have one of these three at how much they don’t taste like rooibos. WIN.
Finished off the last of the sample of this one that Courtney sent me. It’s very, VERY fruity, and I thoroughly enjoyed the infusions I had, but not one that I will need in my cupboard.
At least not right now, while I have Coconut Oolong and Vanilla Orchid Oolong, which I prefer.
I got a sample of this from Courtney yesterday, and I decided to give it a try this afternoon. It’s quite good, the flavoring seems very subtle… which I appreciate, because too often black teas get so heavy. Thanks, Courtney! I am looking forward to sampling more from Kusmi, this was very yummy.
