5 Tasting Notes
Indeed this tea is “just a tad sweet” as the label says. I enjoy this one, because the sweetness from the passion fruit is enjoyable, but the green tea taste does come through at end and in the aftertaste.
I think Adagio says to steep this for 4-5 minutes. I tried that and hated it. After going to SF Chinatown and learning some traditional Chinese preparation techniques (gong fu, I think), I enjoy this tea very much. It has a nice earthy flavor and an aroma that reminds me of the fresh hay smell in a barn.
Refreshing, but borderline too sweet for my tea taste.
I haven’t consumed much cold or bottled green tea, but this is pretty good. I’m not sure what the “natural flavor to balance acidity” is, but I find it to still be pretty acidic. Would buy again though.
