Got this for $8 at the local produce store a couple months ago. I didn’t expect too much from it due to the price. I brewed it according to what it said on the tin (5-7 minutes) and using the default 1 tsp of tea per cup, but it turned out way too strong for my tastes at even 5 minutes. The next time i brewed it I tried 3 minutes and 30 seconds. Perfect! The tea has a reddish black liquor and a very fragrant, complex aroma. Its fruity but bold taste is a nice complement to a hearty meal. It also has that unique muscatel finish that you would expect from a darjeeling. Only issue i had is its astringency (which you only really notice after a cup or so). Surprisingly delicious for such an inexpensive tea.
