A wonderful lemon-orange earl grey dedicated to House Stark. Gotta Love GoT!
This earl grey was a treat because it wasn’t heavy on the bergamot oils like other earl greys I have had. There was also this nice lemon finish that I really enjoyed. All in all, another winner from Margaret’s Fine Imports.
This tea was simply beautiful and crazy delicious. I was completely surprised since the list of ingredients looked a bit crazy. The huge chrysanthemum flowers just gave this tea such a mellow feeling. I was worried this tea would be floral like, but was greeted with a fresh sweet savory like taste. Savory from the sage and basil I’m assuming.

Happy Sipping all!
This was a fun version of a chai that I can’t say I’ve had before. A Chai with an Yerba Mate base instead of a green tea or black tea base. This had a black licorice taste to it, but it wasn’t overwhelming or unpleasant. I really do not like black licorice but I really enjoyed the flavor in this tea for some reason. I was actually surprised that I liked this blend as much as I did. The chai tasted fresh and the cinnamon had a sweet edge to it. This is a unique blend for sure.
I also started a new thread for Tuesdays. I’ve called it Tea Ware Tuesdays. Who couldn’t use more tea related items in their life?
Day 3 of Game of Thrones Week. This one is supposed to represent the Lannisters. I"m not sure if it does that. The Lannisters aren’t exactly a happy family and this tea radiates a bright and colorful flavor when iced.
I would expect a blend for the Lannisters to be more dark like a dark roasted chocolate tea maybe. Iced this tea was amazing. Berry Lemon with a nice hint of a black tea finish. Hot, this tea was muted and bland. This wasn’t my favorite of the GoT lineup I’m trying this week, but it wasn’t awful either. One of those middle of the road sort of teas.
This was pretty tasty. Black tea base with orange and sweet cinnamon notes. This tea would be heaven during the fall and winter time. Iced this was just as good as when I brewed it up hot. I was surprised how much I liked this one. It was one of 4 teas I received in my Good Habit Box this month. This box was a fun subscription box. Snacks, breakfasts, and tea. All perfect for work.

Anybody see last night’s Game of Thrones episode?
I don’t know how many times I said the word “No”. Episode 9 historically has always given us a shocker and they have been setting us up for that spefici event, but I was hoping it still wouldn’t happen. Wouldn’t be Game of Thrones without a few moments like that each season.
While I was yelling at the TV, I was drinking this beauty. I was surprised I liked this one so much. I was honestly expecting a generic citrus flavor, but what I actually got was a bright citrus sunshine flavor that I drank down fast and instantly went to the kitchen to cold brew. The papaya is sweet with the green tea rounding out the blend with a grassy feel. Sunshine in a cup is what I kept thinking.
Flavors: Citrus, Grass, Sweet
I have never had a tea with hops in it before. This was a unique experience. Reminded me of the first time I had a beer. You didn’t like it and first but the more you drink it the more you liked it. I thought this one was better cold. Reminded me of a cold beer with a vanilla finish.
