Yum, Yum Yum!

I am really enjoying this. I think I’ve steeped it 3 times. Really happy with it. It doesn’t really even taste like tea. The more I steep it tho, I am picking up more of the sweet creamy flavor that the honeybush is providing. This will be perfect for this summer. The strawberry lemonade tastes fresh and doesn’t taste artificial at all.

This is hitting the spot. I have been so busy with this mini van stuff and work lately that my tea consumptioin is suffering! This can not happen! I must go back to my obession. . .I miss it so!!!

So far I have really enjoyed the blends that I’ve tried from this adorable Etsy company. I’ve got a few more to check out but I’m impressed.

This particular blend is their Honey Vanilla Chai. I am not a fan of chai for the most part but I found this one to be quite lovely. This wasn’t overly spicey and didn’t make me go nope after the first sip. All of the flavors mingled well and the honeybush brought a great natural sweetness to the tea.

Here are the rest of my thoughts on this treat!

Oh how I enjoyed this tea. In no time at all I went thru the sample 1 oz that I bought. Delicious iced. Delicious hot. Even cold brewed it and the lemon flavors just popped. When I cold brewed this, it tasted almost like a raspberry lemonade. When I brewed it hot, it came out more like the name of the tea. Very happy with this one. Hoping to be able to re-order more soon but I took the dive and bought a mini van yesterday. (Between my boyfriend and I we have 4 kids) So my tea budget may have to be re-worked since now I have a car payment. Haven’t had one of those in about 10 years!

Anywho. . . Here are the rest of my ramblings. . .Happy Tuesday all!!

This is an interesting blend. I can’t say that I have ever had a tea that tasted so much like Italian Seasoning before. It was really different. I haven’t had a lot of these herbs before so I can’t say which one was adding to the savory profile.

rosebudmelissa I have a feeling this one is coming your way.

Such an amazing Grapefruit tea! Sad I can not get more. I picked this up from a stash sale and so glad I did. Burnt Sugar Grapefruit Goodness with a rich malt base. This tea tastes exactly like its name. If anybody has any they have lingering around, let me know.

I totally blame Marzipan for this one. (I kid!!) I noticed that she was reviewing teas from this company and I had to try this one.

This is a unique tea. Sweet with a crisp tangy twist. Really tasty. I didn’t know much about what a prickly pear was so I goggled it. Looks like it is a fruit that has a watermelon taste with bite to it like a kiwi fruit. Whatever it was it was awesome iced.

I’m back and hopefully for good! After a bit of a hiatus, I want to get back in the habit of logging my tea journey for various reasons.

I never know how to start these things. I’m a 40ish tea loving gal who enjoys tea parties, horror movies and polka dots/plaid. I have an amazing supportive husband who has allowed our house to be over run by tea in more ways than one. We have four kiddos between us along with our two furbabies that we love as much as they drive us nuts. Our family truly is our world.

Now on to the tea: I love all kinds. I’m not a huge fan of red rooibos- truly is my arch enemy but I love green rooibos. Beyond that, I’ll try everything once or twice to make sure I didn’t bumble up the steepings. Recently got into puerh and enjoying the adventure. If you are interested in something from me, just holler at me. I’m always up for trying new tea blends or sharing with others!

I’ve also started blending up my own teas at http://www.cuppageekteas.com/ I try to make fun unique blends to brighten someones day with.

I am also the admin behind SororiTea Sisters. If you are interested in reviewing teas for us, let me know!. We are always looking for guest reviewers or contributors: http://sororiteasisters.com/.
