553 Tasting Notes

I am always on the hunt for great teas to enjoy at work, especially during the summer days. Nothing really depresses you more than to look out a window and see how nice the weather is and know that you are stuck at your desk. We have a really nice deck off of one of our conference rooms and I eat my lunches out there occasionally, but its not the same. Summer time is my favorite time of the year. It is about the only time of the year where I am not freezing (I am one of those that is constantly cold). This tea reminds me of summer and enjoying fresh fruit with my family. My 80 year old grandpa is still an old school farmer and we love his cantaloupe. It is so good.

Anyway, here is the full review, Happy Monday all!

Another offering from Della Terra that I think may hit the mark. It wasn’t anything I found that I would need to research to find a substitute. I think if the citrus flavor would have been stronger and the floral not so prominent it would have been better. It is ok and very drinkable, just not what I was hoping for.

This wasn’t my favorite of Della Terra’s offerings. It just seemed to be a bit weak. The peach flavor was there but it was light. It smells like peach jam tho. I wish that flavor translated more into the flavor.

Hmmm. . Smells like maple blueberry goodness. The sweetness doesn’t translate over 100 percent but I’ll take it. Its a delightful treat. Almost Blueberry Pancakes with cinnamon on the side.

Another one I found too late. . Maybe I can find a substitute.

Not being a huge fan of Earl Grey tea, I wasn’t sure what to think of this. But I was pleasantly surprised. The first word I can think of is sleek!

Here is the full review. . .Happy Sunday everyone!

I threw this in my cart the last time I was ordering from 52Teas. I will admit, I am not a chocolate fan. I figured if I didn’t like it, the twins would.

Yeah . . . .I’m not sharing. . . . and I’ve already ordered more!

I’m back and hopefully for good! After a bit of a hiatus, I want to get back in the habit of logging my tea journey for various reasons.

I never know how to start these things. I’m a 40ish tea loving gal who enjoys tea parties, horror movies and polka dots/plaid. I have an amazing supportive husband who has allowed our house to be over run by tea in more ways than one. We have four kiddos between us along with our two furbabies that we love as much as they drive us nuts. Our family truly is our world.

Now on to the tea: I love all kinds. I’m not a huge fan of red rooibos- truly is my arch enemy but I love green rooibos. Beyond that, I’ll try everything once or twice to make sure I didn’t bumble up the steepings. Recently got into puerh and enjoying the adventure. If you are interested in something from me, just holler at me. I’m always up for trying new tea blends or sharing with others!

I’ve also started blending up my own teas at http://www.cuppageekteas.com/ I try to make fun unique blends to brighten someones day with.

I am also the admin behind SororiTea Sisters. If you are interested in reviewing teas for us, let me know!. We are always looking for guest reviewers or contributors: http://sororiteasisters.com/.
