you know, i drank 3-4 infusions of this all morning long, and i quite liked it this time around. huh. well, i have to admit once again that lactose flavor is overwhelming me, so for after lunch i’m switching oolongs! OOLONG SWITCH!

drank Houji-Genmaicha by Den's Tea

hmmm. for all the Den’s Teas that i loved, i figured this one for a shoe-in. alas, it is not. it does smell wonderful, but it sure brews up weak. i left the second steeping even longer, but still. meh. i mean, i can taste the potential, but it’s incredibly blah. it is early enough afternoon that i may just add another tsp or two and steep again, just to see.

drank Dragonwell by Adagio Teas

well, this is ok. i think with a name like “dragonwell” i thought it would be spectacular, but it is not. (spectacularly what, i’m not sure)
it is not bad. it is green, vegetal (vegetable-y?), earthy, it is fine. it is not spectacular. it is not bad. i am neutral on this one.

made my very own pot of this tonight. added much more tea per cuppa, have been letting it sit for quite a while…this is SO so yummy! i sure wish the tin went a bit further, i’m going to run out of this if i don’t control myself. maybe just a cup at a time in the future…just one. and maybe just one more…
