I’m legit on a tea streak. Three cups and it’s just half past noon?! Ahh I love tea tons :)

This is just your usual black tea. Nothing too special.
I think I added too much sugar though, but it’s still pretty yummy!

Thank you tons to TeaNTees for sending this my way!

ALSO sorta pointless since I haven’t been on in forever and I’m sure none of you missed my pointless posts about life, buuuuut it was just publicly announced yesterday, I got the Lead position in my department! For those of you who forgot, I work at Disneyland and it’s tons of fun and I’ve been there for almost a year and a half now. I decided to apply for Lead aaaand they announced everyone yesterday. I’m quite chuffed :)

Congrats! I missed living vicariously through your job – it’s really interesting to hear about, and I’m happy it’s still such a fun place to work :)

That’s great! Congrats!!

Thank you both so much! If you ever make it to Disneyland, let me know. I met up with Shermeen (keychange on Steepster) last year and it was tooons of fun :))

Correction: TeaNTees* (but I still love ya Kyra) :P

& Congrats on your promotion!! :)

Tees!??!? I thought it was trees the entire time!!!

It’s been almost a year and I’m quite embarrassed. So sorry!

Ha ha ha, too funny XD

No worries my dear! I love trees as well as tees in any case. :)

Congrats! i remember how excited you were about getting the Disney job. I’m glad the job has been working out so well. :D

Fabulous! My daughter and her hubby are going to Disney Thursday through Sunday to meet up with her hubby’s dad and his gf who are visiting from Ireland, and just by coincidence, my son and his gf and gf’s mom are going the very same days – completely unplanned! Congrats on the promotion!

Aww, thanks so much, everyone!!

Because of my Cashew Turtle from 52teas earlier, that got me to a very chocolate mood and I pulled this tea out!
For some reason it smelled like green tea leaves?? It was so weird. But it tasted like nice chocolate fudge! I got some hints of butter in it, as well as the lovely smooth chocolate taste :)

Flavors: Butter, Chocolate, Cream

Wam Bam, back to tea! I’ve been away for so long mainly bc life D:

I’m slowly getting tea back into my life and I actually forgot how much I love it!
Anyway, I got this from Sil AGES ago. It did have that old tea taste, but I’m not too picky and it still tasted pretty good with a bit of milk and sugar to help it along!

The chocolate and caramel notes in this tea was lovely. Smooth, not overly bitter like some other chocolate teas that I’ve had before.

Flavors: Caramel, Chocolate

Boiling 3 min, 0 sec 5 g 12 OZ / 354 ML

welcome back!

Thank you! It’s good to be back :)

Had this two days ago and it was quite possibly the nastiest tea ever oh my gosh. It tasted like leafy pool water. Like no.

Laughs bc I threw the remaining 3g of this into my Steeper, brewed it like normal, poured it over ice, and spiked it with a bit of spiced rum. Yuuuummmm :))

Ohh thank you TeaNTrees for sending this tea my way!
I love lychee and this tastes almost like lychee! The flavouring of this tea is super juicy and it’s so good! Lychee is definitely a bit lighter than this tea though, so that’s what’s throwing me off. I think if this flavouring was done in a white tea, it would be so good!

Oh yes, a white version of this would be lovely!

Yummy yum yum yum Yummy Yummy YUM.

Ahh this teas is lovely! I’m so happy I decided to purchase the “They’re Back!” Collection! This tea tastes so much like Blueberry Jam, but with lemongrass and a slight hint of pineapple. A lovely tea to end the night, mainly because it’s soooo good and there’s no caffeine!

Flavors: Blueberry, Lemongrass, Pineapple

From TeaNTrees bc it was supposed to be a small “Here I have teas, take some!” thing to a LET’S DO A FULL ON SWAP sort of thing :)

I’m drowning in schoolwork and I need tea to keep me company, so this one it is! Just a nice rooibos so I can sleep tonight :)

I got a lot of rooibos, not so much Cream Caramel :( that always tends to happen with me and rooibos teas! It smells great, but then it all just goes away once you steep it :(

I have no idea how many times I’ve drank this, but I’m drinking it right now :) I’ve probably had this like five times so far this year at least hahahha

But there’s this place called Cha for Tea right by my school and whenever I’m craving boba, I go here! So good, but a tad pricy. People already know me there and I always get the same thing. A large Thai Tea with boba :))

Super good! I don’t make Thai Tea on my own so I have this place make it for me :)

So for my school, I’m taking this class which is pretty much the capstone class for my major. Last quarter, we divided ourselves up into 4-5 person management teams and wrote out an entire management plan complete with forecasts and budgets. Now this quarter, we put those plans into action! Each week is a new management group, and each week, we get a different role. I was a server today and it was fun! We’ve been training for a week and a half and today was the first day we were open to the public so it was pretty fun :)

I offered to drive one of my group mates to her house so she didn’t have to take the shuttle, and we decided to get boba after class soooo Cha for Tea it is!!

Likes/dislikes here:

Tea rating guide:
100-95: Best thing to ever touch my mouth and I want more. Restocking is a must
94-80: Love this tea. Restock if I can
79-70: Decent tea. Neither love nor hate.
69-60: I won’t be upset when it runs out. I’ll drink it but won’t restock.
59-30: I’ve done whatever I can to like this tea and I’ll finish the cup.
29-10: I’ve done whatever I can to like this tea. It may or may not have gone down the sink…
9-below: Let’s not even hide it. This definitely went down the drain.

I love tea.
I drink it.
I log it.
I have a good time.
Lather, rinse, repeat.

I first discovered my love for tea with jasmine teas because that’s all my mother would buy, so for the longest time, I thought that all teas were jasmine! And then in 4th grade, I watched the tea episode of Good Eats and that’s when the education started! I’d like to blame Alton Brown for starting this obsession because now I only like loose leaf tea.
It wasn’t until my second year of college that I actually expanded my tea taste buds. Special shout out to Cara McGee, Tea Queen for her Adagio Fandom blends. Because of Cara, I actually started drinking blacks, herbals and whites and pretty much everything else in between. I still have a special love for my jasmine though :)
I (try to) drink tea daily. Usually just straight up, no sugar or milk. This little obsession started young and just… kept going, I guess.

also I apologize in advance for lazy tasting notes and horrible grammar in everything I write. I was an avid fandom blogger on tumblr and tumblr talk can get in the way of everything kthxbai
