Special shoutout to shmiracles for sneaking a wee bit of this into our swap a couple weeks back. It was such a nice surprise and it’s so so SO good! I love the sparkles and sprinkles and ahhh I just love this tea so so much :)

Note to self: buy this tea next time a Della Terra order is needed. SUCH A GREAT TEA.

So my scale came in the mail and I love it so so much and I’ve been playig with it a butt ton and WOW IT’S GREAT.
Decided to actually use the timer bit that the app comes with and I weighed my tea and wow weighing tea and timing it just makes the tea taste so much better okay. I think it’s really cute how when you use the timer, it buzzes and then a little notification saying “Your tea is done!” comes up and it’s just darn CUTE.

This tea is pretty good. It has the spice without it being too strong. Just the perfect balance of sweet and spice :)

(For some reason I’m tasting butter in this? That’s weird. But like.. must be the gingerbread :) Do they even use butter in gingerbread cookies? I don’t even know. I’ve never made gingerbread cookies before)

I wasn’t planning on drinking another cuppa but now my roommate and I are FREAKIN WATCHING MEAN GIRLS BECAUSE I CLEANED MY ROOM AND I FOUND IT AND NOW WE’RE WATCHING IT HAHAHAHAH

I actually had no idea which tea to drink. I made her smell the three in my tin trio from Tea Forté and she chose this one. My favourite in the trip!

Today was a very productive day so I’m allowed to be lazy and have ramen for dinner. Come on, that’s the epitome of a college life right there okay. Ramen plus coffee equals COLLEGE.
But of course, I don’t drink coffee, only tea :) Ramen like… once or twice a month at most because I enjoy quality foods. But today was very productive, I’ve done over half the things I needed to finish so just leave me with my ramen and my tea and my netflix hehe :)

This tea though. I’ve had it plenty of times before and I can just never get it right? It either has too much or too little flavour. Ahh well. It’s in a sachet so easy clean up for me! Once again: THE LAZINESS IS TAKING OVER.

I’m either one or two cups away from a sipdown :)

So today was a very productive day. Granted I spent a whole lot of money because I placed my David’s order, but no more spending money on tea anytime soon! I think I’ll be good for a month or two.

After pretty much emptying out my wallet, I went to a meeting, mailed a package, had a late lunch at Starbucks and then PRODUCTIVE DAY BACK HOME.

Don’t know if anyone know this, but I did the Disney College Program fall of 2014. I left Florida on the 5th, and the term for school started the 6th and ONLY NOW DID I HAVE TIME TO ORGANIZE MY ROOM and I’m really happy how it turned out!

But now I have finished and it’s time to rest and plan which classes I’ll be taking in the next quarter, and hopefully my last year of college WOW IT’S THAT TIME ALREADY but I’m pretty sure I might have to take an extra quarter… I don’t know… But yeah. Lots to do still and I wanted a nice and bright tea tonight. No smokiness or chais, just nice bright and happy teas :)

((I totally just checked my email and the first thing I see is an email from Disney College Recruiting and it siad “Now accepting applications for Fall 2014!” and I started tearing up because I WANNA DO IT SO BAD. But if I do it then I’ll DEFINITELY be delayed with graduation ugghhh))

I just came back from a club meeting and I walked to the copy and mail center to mail my friend her tea and the guy who helped me out told me he was a tea drinker! Yeah I kinda put it in the wrong envelope so he had to open it up and put it in the correct one.
Well since I was just a building away from Starbucks, I decided to do a Starbucks run :)
I’ve actually never gad this tea before. I’ve only ever had the Chai tea latte and the green tea looked… A bit too green and offputting to me? Let it be known, I’ve never had matcha before so the greenest tea I’ve ever had was just any regular old green tea.
But this is actually pretty good! I got it with light whip cuz I didn’t know if a lot of whip would ruin it.
Definitely tastes green, a bit sweet to my liking. Next time I order I’ll probably tweak it up a bit :)

I probably have the biggest headache ever because I’m thinking of what I should get on my next David’s order and I CAN’T DECIDE. I’ve been adding and taking out so many things from my shopping cart and I just don’t know what to get.
Either I get just $2 under free shipping, or I end up with freakin $80 worth of stuff.
I DON’T HAVE A JOB AND I’M A CHEAPO COLLEGE STUDENT AND THIS IS SO FRUSTRATING.
I don’t know what to get and what not to get. I know three things for SURE but like the final tea to get me to free shipping? I don’t knoowwww.
If only I bathed in money, then this decision wouldn’t be difficult!

So. I took out a tea that I was all ehh I can survive without it. I’m buying Buttered Rum for my friend because she said she really wanted it, I’m getting myself that Matcha Chocolate bar because CHOCOLATE and FINALLY getting my Timolino! I just need $8.50 left to get free shipping and I seriously can’t decide, I really REALLY can’t. I’ve decided to just buy myself a gift card to reach free shipping so I CAN USE IT ON MY NEXT DAVID’S ORDER. YEAH? SOUND GOOD? IT SOUNDS GREAT TO ME.

This was one of the first teas I bought when I arrived in Florida, and now it’s nearing the end! Granted, I haven’t drank it in so long, but ahhhh the white tea and the vanilla! This tea smells soooo good in the tin!
Aww darn it. I let it steep for a bit too long and it’s just over the edge of being bitter :/ Ahh well. I’m rewatching Heroes right now so hopefully the fact that I’m doing something while drinking my tea it’ll get my mind off the fact that it’s bitter.
It really is a great tea though! I really should time my teas because I get distracted way too easily hahha

GUYS IT’S RAINING. IT’S COLD AND IT’S RAINING.
Okay it’s not raining hard, but it’s not sprinkling. But WE HAVEN’T HAD RAIN ALL WINTER LONG. It rained for like an hour or so over the weekend but that was it AND TODAY IT’S BEEN RAINING FOR A COUPLE HOURS OH THIS IS JUST GREAT.
Great for the crops and also great for me because this just makes me want to drink more tea hehe. My roommate actually called me and asked me to turn the kettle on because she was FREEZING and she wanted tea :)
But I have this tea in my thermos right now. Made it before class and poured it into my thermos. Nice white tea because I feel like I haven’t had white tea in so long. Nice grassy notes, nice and warm for class today :)

Just got back from my lab practicum and my group and I got a 93! Not too bad :)
Decided to drink something out of my Steepster Select package and I don’t think I’ve had this kind of tea before. Golden Yunnan? I’ve seen photos and ahh this tea is actually quite gorgeous dry! Nice golden curls :) smells just like black tea with a *hint of smokiness. As it steeps, it still takes on the same aroma as it is dry.
It has a nice dark amber colour to it that’s definitely going to stain the towel haha.
But wow this tea is reeeally good! I’ve read the reviews and apparently it’s supposed to have a strong tobacco taste? I actually have no idea how tobacco is supposed to taste like so this just tastes like a really good black tea :)

Almost every single review I read said that it had a strong tobacco scent dry, and it has a strong tobacco flavour when drinking. I just.. don’t really taste the tobacco? I DON’T KNOW HOW TOBACCO TASTES LIKE SO I HAVE NO IDEA. IT’S JUST A REALLY NICE CUPPA SMOOTH BLACK TEA OKAY.

Dude. My roommates are getting so mad at me because I really want to place an order for more tea but they were all NO KYRA STOP because I just placed an Adagio order yesterday and yeah tea is great :)
