As everybody recommended, it worth enough to taste. But in a way, i think that its strong smell has been one of main reasons of its high reputation. but for me, when i smell it closely, i often feel it’s too ‘much’ or ‘sour’.. i think the opinions on fruity teas really defends on personal tastes. i recommend you to visit the shop and smell it with your own nose!

this is quite light, has light flavor, can be too simple for someone who need a strong punch.
i wouldnt say wow it’s like a roller coaster or dream tea, whatever.
Like the description on the package, it’s best in its straight way, without milk or sugar.
and they marked this tea on the first level of three leaves which means it’s the mildest baby in twining tea world. i guess..
color may cheat you, even if it turns to brown red, the taste never goes beyond the mildness until 3mins. Like woody allen never be like hulk hogan even though he’s upset.
dont get me wrong, i like him.

Except the day when the teabag burst out in my thermo, i’ve generally nice impression on twining blackteas. mine is french version, so it comes in gold package, like a loose leaf version in the gold tin can. the careful illustrations about ‘conseils d’utilisation’ is one of things i appreciated to twining, actually many tea companies ignore that,, the appropriate temperature,
number of teabags you need, waiting time, it can be kind starter for beginners as i was several yrs ago.

drank Matcha yamajyu by yamajyu

generally good for all, for baking, for green tea latte, etc.
it has bitter taste as like usual matchas, ordinary flavor of matcha,
i’ve been drank one matcha mixed with 30percents of rice powder,
i love them all of two, but especially i use it more for cooking, latte, or when i want some feeling like refreshing my mouth..it’s of medium color, between sap green and olive green. considering its various usage, i would say matcha is sort of economic one in the tea market.. imagine that you ground with two heavy stones,
hope it was not food processor or like that..i don’t wanna reveal the truth behind the matcha company although.

drank Costa Rica pur arabica by Monoprix

aromatique, but i’m not sure it’s équilibré,
smells quite good, intense, they have many other versions like guatemala, honduras etc, i use fabric filter which i roughly made..too annoyed to go to supermarket..well, seemingly it works well, but i found that, after i filter it out, the strength of flavor fells down to half. not that fruity

brewed 95degree for 3min, surprised how different reviews this tea has!
actually i’m on the side of positives as i love this roasted, ‘salty’ smell,
it remains me a flavor of roasted sea salt or asian soup salted by soybean sauce in its most elegant way.. perfect for windy days in autumn, when people start to burn up the fallen leaves. i don’t know what kind of foods japanese people take with hojicha
but to me it’s appealing when i drink it solely, or salty snacks, or any meals.

but don’t take my review seriously,
i hesitated a while to mention like ‘roasted sea salt’ after ‘roasted popcorn’
they’re all salty, although..

caramel et vanilla flavors. it makes you give over 70scores at least..if you’re just normal person who loves sweets, sugar, caramel etc.. add a dash of sugar, it create illusion that you’re drinking real caramel drink..

i served it over 663times when i worked for part time in resto. it was not a bestseller cause normally people are not familiar with tea oolong in paris, When it comes to its price vs quality, it’s great deal. it’s neither too strong or too mild, smells like wood but i can’t describe it with the words like fantastic or horrible, just like a dried wood.. i’ve only tried in straight way, without sugar or milk.

drank Corn Tea by Dong Suh
20 tasting notes

you have to try it cold. put 3 or 4 teabags in the small cup with hot water, then you pour it in 2L empty bottle then add cold water to just before the neck, then you put the teabags and fix their strings with the cap. store it in the refrigerator and drink it as like water.
it’s one of the most popular way to drink corn tea in the summer.

In the middle of last decade, i just fell into the baking world. After using tons of flours trying all the recipes which can be found on the planet earth from the ciabatta to gingerman in our image, after our likeliness, i found that he seemed thirsty for someone and lonely. i gave him a coke, but she was not his type. so i took a dash of milk from his flank and made a cup of tea. And I saw that it was good.
