Been here twice and they’ll cater to vegetarians if you’re doing the high tea.
The service is alright.
The second time I went, it wasn’t so very good. I remembered we were seated and then removed and we had to wait again for another seat even with our reservations. We weren’t really given a reason why but assuming it was because they were so busy and people kept showing up so they lost count of who was there first.

For their tea, definitely give their creamy earl grey a try! Be sure to call ahead to reserve a table. They do get quite busy.

Dropped by once this summer to try out their macarons. They were delicious! But the thing that sold me/has me thinking about a lot was their Lavender Earl Grey tea and this is coming from someone who is not a fan of lavender scented things. I usually find it too strong but it really goes well blended with the bergamont in earl grey. Try it as an iced latte! You won’t regret it! I finally went back and got 50 grams of it for my own shelf. :D

I’ve been here about a handful of times in the past 2 years and each time I brought friends who have never been and they’ve all enjoyed it. It’s one of my favorite places for afternoon tea. The staff is friendly, the atmosphere is very clean and they cater to vegetarians (me!).

EDIT: Sept 5, 2012.
I was surprised by the folks at Urban Tea when they sent me a lovely hand written post card for my birthday this past June. They were also sweet enough to offer me a sample of their Birthday Tea to take home as well! I am a forever customer :)

Bio

A casual tea consumer that typically enjoys plain teas (sencha/genmaicha green tea is a daily must have) and the occasional chai and london fogs but is willing to discover new flavors.

All thanks to DAVIDsTEA, I’ve rediscovered how fun tea consumption can be! So now I’m using Steepster as my own personal tea diary.

I usually try flavored teas straight first and then in a soy/almond latte with a tiny bit of sweetener (agave or honey). If it’s a fruit type tea, then after the initial straight taste test, I’d do it iced with a bit of sweetener.

My Aerolatte is my favorite tea tool. It’s cow printed too!
